A cautionary tale:
A client of mine was attracted by a low price per metre of carpet she liked, and go a quote.
However, the 'saving' on the carpet was outweighed by the 'extras'. Whilst a fitting charge is reasonable to accept, her quote also included a delivery charge of £35 and a cutting charge of £30.
Cutting a carpet is part of fitting it, surely?

It cant be fitted until it's delivered, so...
My client then found my cost to be reasonable, with a much friendlier service...
